Product Description

What Are These Standards?

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). It is not a product quality label; it is a management framework that helps an organization document its processes, allocate responsibilities, and use evidence-based feedback to improve consistency. The standard centers on customer focus, process approach, risk-based thinking, and continual improvement.
ISO 14001 is the core standard within the ISO 14000 family for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). It provides a structured method for identifying environmental aspects, managing regulatory compliance, reducing waste and energy use, and setting measurable objectives for environmental performance. The 2015 version remains current, with a transition to the 2026 revision expected to follow the standard three-year migration cycle.
Both standards follow the High Level Structure (Annex SL), which allows them to be integrated into a single, unified management system rather than operated as separate silos.

How Certification Works

ISO itself does not issue certificates. Independent, accredited certification bodies conduct audits to verify that an organization’s management system meets the standard’s requirements. Once certified, the organization undergoes periodic surveillance audits—typically annually—to confirm that the system remains operational and effective. This means certification is less a one-time achievement and more a recurring checkpoint that the organization’s internal processes are functioning as intended.

Our Position

We maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification as operational tools, not promotional distinctions. In practical terms, this means:

> Our design and production workflows are documented, traceable, and subject to regular internal review;
> Environmental impacts from manufacturing are assessed and managed within defined targets;
> Non-conformities are recorded, analyzed, and addressed through corrective action procedures;
> Management reviews are conducted at planned intervals to evaluate system performance.

These systems do not guarantee perfection, but they do provide a repeatable structure for identifying problems and implementing improvements. For our partners in the hospitality and foodservice sectors, this translates to predictable lead times, consistent product specifications, and transparent manufacturing practices.
