What Is a Patent Portfolio?

A patent portfolio is simply a collection of formal records documenting specific technical solutions or industrial designs that an organization has developed and chosen to protect under intellectual property law. In China, this typically takes the form of utility model patents (protecting product structure and functional improvements) and appearance patents (protecting the external shape, pattern, and visual configuration of a product).

Neither type implies fundamental scientific discovery; both are legal instruments that preserve the right to use and defend specific, implementable configurations.

Our Portfolio

Our patent records span two categories relevant to commercial refrigeration equipment:

Utility model patents — covering structural and functional adjustments such as insulation assemblies, door sealing mechanisms, modular chassis layouts, condenser ventilation systems, and interior support configurations;

Appearance patents — documenting cabinet proportions, door and handle arrangements, surface treatments, and overall exterior form factors developed for commercial kitchen and retail environments.

In total, these patents represent incremental adjustments made over time in response to assembly constraints, thermal performance targets, spatial limitations observed in the field, and maintenance accessibility requirements. They are the byproduct of routine engineering and design work, not the output of a dedicated innovation program.

Our Position

We do not measure our capability by patent quantity. The value of these records lies in their practical function: they help us maintain consistency across production batches, prevent inadvertent design drift, and provide partners with assurance that our product configurations are deliberate rather than arbitrary.
